There are some books that go beyond words when you read them. They reach down deep and become part of your soul. This is the way this book was for me. Madison is happily married to her high school sweetheart with four amazingly beautiful children. As life happens sometimes, her entire family is killed in a car accident. So begins the transition from wife and mother to just Madison.
My heart broke for her. I am a mother that has lost a child and as I sit here typing this review tears are falling down my face. There is absolutely nothing more painful and to have lost all of them is indescribable.
She has an incredible network of friends but the absolute best is Kinley. She keeps living for Madison even when she wants to break down herself. She does something amazing and buys her VIP tickets to her favorite band. When Calvin spots her in the crowd before the show, he knows there is something different about her and wants to meet her.
I loved reading Calvin and Madison’s story. I actually have a back-up list myself and the thought of hooking up with anyone on it is mindboggling! This story was real and passionate and I can’t wait for more.
